Provision exists whereby secondary teachers may receive incremental credit to a maximum of five years in respect of satisfactory full-time service given by them as teachers in universities in this country.
Can the Minister say why it is limited to five years? What is wrong with the universities?
I suppose at one time these five-year periods applied also to other situations. I will have a look at it.
