Introduction of New Members

The Clerk of the Dáil made the following announcement:
I gcomhlíonadh Bhuan-Ordú 239 de na Buan-Orduithe i dtaobh Gnó Phoiblí, tá orm a chraoladh go ndearnadh, sa Chorrthoghchán a bhí ann an 22ú Bealtaine 2026, de chionn an Teachta Pascal Ó Donnchú d'éirí as, agus toghchán an Teachta Caitríona Ní Chonghaile mar Uachtarán, na Comhaltaí seo a leanas a thoghadh don Dáil:
Dáilcheantar Bhaile Átha Cliath Láir: Domhnall Ó hAonguis
Dáilcheantar Gaillimh Thiar: Seán Ó Cadhain
Tá Rolla na gComhaltaí sínithe ag an dá Theachta de réir Bhuan-Ordaithe 1.
In compliance with Standing Order 239 of the Standing Orders relative to Public Business I have to announce that at the By-Elections held on 22 May 2026, consequent on the resignation of Deputy Paschal Donohoe and the election as President of Deputy Catherine Connolly, the following Members have been elected to the Dáil:
Constituency of Dublin Central: Daniel Ennis
Constituency of Galway West: Seán Kyne
The Deputies have signed the Roll of Members in accordance with Standing Order 1.

I call on the new Members to take their seats.

The new Members have taken their seats. I think I speak on behalf of all Members in congratulating them on their election. We recognise it is a special day for them, their families and their supporters. I wish them every success and happiness in their new roles. I am sure they will both make a major contribution to the work of the House and the 34th Dáil.
