360. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Social Protection the reason for a deduction in payment in the case of a person (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24015/16]

Minister for Social Protection

The person concerned is in receipt of a one parent family payment and has a deduction in respect of maintenance received for her two children.

The claim of the person concerned is under review at present.

I hope this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
