Please see below table in regards to the total costs incurred by the Department of Transport arising from the placing of advertisements with the national broadcaster RTE for the year 2016 to the end of Quarter 3 2023. The Department does not have a record of financial transactions directly with RTE as it places advertising through a media buyer. There is no record of expenditure on advertising with RTE between 2016-2019. The Department advertises to communicate key messages on transport to the public across an entire range of media platforms including TV, radio, print, digital and social media.
