The CSO includes the Accelerated Capital Allowances Scheme for Energy Efficient Equipment (Triple E) in its statistical release on Environmental Subsidies and Similar Transfers (ESST). This release is published annually on its website. The Triple E is included as a single scheme whose primary purpose is heat/energy saving and management, in line with Eurostat methodological guidance. The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI), Triple E register includes electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles. The register doesn't include any vehicles whose only source of motive energy is a fossil fuel engine, such as a petrol or diesel internal combustion engine.
