133. Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Transport the number of Revenue protection officers employed by Iarnród Éireann in the years of 2022, 2023 and to date in 2024, in tabular form; and if this number will be further increased this year. [25105/24]
View answerAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport.
The issue raised by the Deputy in relation to the number of Revenue Protection Officers employed by Iarnród Éireann is a matter for Iarnród Éireann. Therefore, I have referred the Deputy's question to Iarnród Éireann for direct response to the Deputy.
