Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Transport the refurbishment works that Iarnród Éireann carried out at a location (details supplied) in the years of 2023 and to date in 2024; and the future refurbishment works Iarnród Éireann has scheduled for this station between Q3 2024 and end of 2025, in tabular form. View answerAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport.
The issue raised by the Deputy in relation to the past and future works at Tara Street Station is an operational matter for Iarnród Éireann. Therefore, I have referred the Deputy's question to Iarnród Éireann for direct response to the Deputy.
