360. Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media if she will provide an update on the application for funding of a group under the cultural capital grant scheme (details supplied). [25203/24]
View answerAt present, my Department does not have an application for funding from the group referred to by the Deputy.
The group previously applied for funding and was successful under Stream D of my Department's Cultural Capital Scheme. The grant was drawn down in full, by the group in April 2021. Stream D was set up specifically to assist arts and culture organisations to reopen safely after COVID-19 and help prevent its spread.
At present, my Department has a capital scheme open for applications called Stream E of the Cultural Capital Scheme. Grants of up to €50,000 are available to not-for-profit arts and culture organisations for capital projects that reduce their carbon footprint or provide additional capacity for artistic production.
