Written answers

The Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY) is responsible for all contracted accommodation used to house Ukrainian Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection (BOTP) and International Protection (IP) applicants and is engaged across Government concerning temporary accommodation for those in need of shelter. However, my Department is not generally consulted in relation to specific properties which may be sought for these purposes, including the premises referred to by the Deputy in the question.
