Dáil Éireann Debate, Wednesday - 19 June 2024
157. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science for clarification on a matter (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26371/24]
View answerAs the Deputy may be aware Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are autonomous under the relevant legislation and neither I or my Department have a role in the management of their academic or administrative affairs.
If your constituent has not done so already I would suggest they contact the HEI directly in relation to this matter. If this does not resolve the matter, I would encourage this constituent to write to my office directly, including the response received from the relevant HEI.
