Deputy Niamh Smyth asked the Minister for Education if the case of a school (details supplied) will be reviewed; the steps her Department is taking in relation to this issue; if her Department has made contact with the school on this issue; and if she will make a statement on the matter. View answerThe large scale capital project for the school referred to by the Deputy is for the construction of an extension, comprising of 10 new classrooms, general purpose hall and ancillary areas, minor alterations, refurbishment of existing building and all associated site works.
The details supplied by the Deputy are currently being examined by my Department and the design team. My Department will be in contact with the school in due course when this review is complete.
