Deputy Patrick Costello asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media the number of legal cases taken by her Department, or by agencies or bodies under her Department’s aegis, against another Department, Government agency or State body in each of the past five years; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media

My Department in its current configuration was established in September 2020. I am advised that no legal cases have been taken by my Department against another Department, Government agency or State body since that time.

In relation to any cases taken by bodies and agencies under my aegis, these would be operational matters for the bodies in question.
