Deputy Mark Ward asked the Minister for Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform the cost to the OPW of providing dog kennels in Garda dog handlers' homes, per kennel, in each of the past ten years, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [37045/24]

Minister of State at the Department of Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform

I am informed by the Commissioners of Public Works (OPW) that the provision of dog kennels at dog handlers homes in the past ten years was funded by An Garda Síochána. There was no cost to the OPW.
