Deputy Thomas Pringle asked the Minister for Justice the number of times documents or written indications of relevant information furnished to the Interim Parole Board in respect of a relevant person, or an application by a relevant person, were not provided to the person or their legal representation owing to exceptional circumstances, from 2001 to 2021, in tabular form; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Unfortunately, it is not possible to provide the Deputy with a response.

The information sought by the Deputy would require a detailed examination of each of the files relating to that period of two decades which could only be provided through the expenditure of a disproportionate amount of time and resources.
