View answerThe data requested by the Deputy is contained in the attached spreadsheet. This data was sourced from the Higher Education Authority (HEA) and is rounded to the nearest five for data protection purposes.
The data for the academic year 2023/2024 is not yet available from the HEA as they are currently in the process of gathering and auditing this data. It is expected the data will be published in the coming weeks.
This is data is for new entrants (Undergraduate entry) and course year 1 (Graduate entry) for dentistry in TCD and UCC. The numbers are for Non-EEA students, i.e Non-EU but also excluding Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein.
