Dáil Éireann Debate, Tuesday - 8 October 2024
404. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine for an update on an application by a person (details supplied) to the ACRES scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [39886/24]
View answerThe person named was approved into Tranche 1 of the ACRES Co-Operation stream. The Rare Breeds action was chosen as part of the submitted application. However, the breeds selected were Dexter Cattle and Connemara Ponies. Droimeann Cattle was not selected in this application.
Unfortunately, once an application is submitted, it cannot be amended, as per Circular 6/2022 and 12/2022. Therefore, it will not be possible to add Droimeann Cattle to the application at this stage.
