Written answers

Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications (Deputy Eamon Ryan)

Members of the media would generally not travel with me as part of an official delegation at international engagements. I do note on one occasion during a visit to China for St. Patrick's Day 2023, a journalist from the Journal.ie accompanied me. There was no cost to the Department as the publication funded the Journalist's trip.
