Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Health the reason the National Ambulance Service (NAS) is denying the advanced paramedic payment to advanced paramedics who have been promoted to a management position, but are still fulfilling the role of advanced paramedic; if he is aware that this is contrary to ruling 19131 from the Labour Court (details supplied); and if he will ensure that the criteria outlined in this ruling are fully enforced by the HSE and the NAS.
