230. Deputy Richard Bruton asked the Minister for Finance to provide an update on the review of Ireland’s ETF investor taxation regime announced by his predecessor and due to be completed by Summer 2024; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [42429/24]
View answerA draft report was submitted to me during the summer for consideration in line with the Review’s Terms of the Reference. The review was wide ranging and examined a range of issues relevant to the funds sector including the taxation of ETFs. I am planning to bring the Report to Government shortly for consideration and intend publishing afterwards. The exact timing of the publication of the report is yet to be decided.
