215. Deputy Anne Rabbitte asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage the status of an application for capital assistance scheme funding for a service (detail supplied); the date on which it will be sanctioned; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [43576/24]
View answerThe application for funding under the Capital Assistance Scheme in this instance, is in respect of the capital costs for a new construction development. Regrettably, it appears that there was a significant delay from when the group undertook the construction tender, before my Department received the required post-tender cost proposal.
My Department is now examining the proposed construction costs, bearing in mind the time lapse since the group undertook the tendering process, and will be in contact with the local authority shortly on this.
