451. Deputy Réada Cronin asked the Minister for Education if her Department will engage with the parish of Sallins to secure the three acres currently for sale at Church Avenue, Sallins, County Kildare to ensure land for parking and future expansion of a school (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [44714/24]

I can confirm that my Department understands that there is land adjacent to the school in question, which is in the ownership of the school’s patron, that is being sold.  My Department has no application from the school seeking additional accommodation or a site extension.
