Dáil Éireann Debate, Tuesday - 5 November 2024
513. Deputy Claire Kerrane asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media if there is funding available for upgrading existing playgrounds; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [43939/24]
View answerMy Department provides funding under the Community Sport Facilities Fund (formerly the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme) for sports facilities but the Fund does not provide funding for playgrounds. Funding for playgrounds may be available under schemes operated by other Government Departments and through local authorities.
