Dáil Éireann Debate, Wednesday - 22 January 2025
585. Deputy Ruth Coppinger asked the Minister for Education if plans are in place to repair the roof of a school (details supplied); if so, when these repairs will commence; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [1115/25]
View answerThe school in question submitted an application for funding under the Emergency Works Scheme (EWS) for roof works. The application in question is currently being reviewed by the EWS team under the appeals process. Once this review process is complete the EWS team will engage further with the school as appropriate.
The EWS team is aware of the urgent nature of the works required and will keep the school informed throughout the process.
