Deputy Matt Carthy asked the Minister for Transport the number of flights through sovereign Irish airspace which have occurred in breach of Irish legislation since October 2023; the dates of such breaches; if the matter has been referred to An Garda Síochána; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Transport

My officials have been undertaking a detailed examination of the allegations made concerning contraventions of Irish legislation relating to the carriage of munitions of war in Irish sovereign airspace. This work is continuing and consideration will be given to appropriate next steps.
