In doing so, my Department continues to promote and advertise opportunities to staff to Seconded National Expert positions and National Expert in Professional Training scheme opportunities.

During 2024, 11 interns were in positions under the Internship Scheme in European Union Institutions administered by the Department in co-operation with the European Commission, the European Parliament, the European Council, the Committee of the Regions and the Publications Office.
