Deputy Denise Mitchell asked the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications if his Department, or any body under its aegis, currently outsources cleaning services and-or service officer or security officer roles to private companies; the value and length of any related contract, by body, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerI can confirm that my Department does outsource cleaning and security services to private companies. OCS is a facilities management company and they provide security, cleaning, landscaping, shredding and reception duties in Tom Johnson House. Five Star Cleaning and Keyguard Security provide cleaning and security services in our five other buildings. The table below outlines the company, contract length and estimated contract value in euro.
