125. Deputy Conor D. McGuinness asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage if Met Éireann will review its system of warnings to allow for a more granular breakdown, by local electoral area rather than county, to take into account the difference in geography within counties, provide more accurate warnings and avoid discrepancies at county bounds; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Met Éireann routinely reviews its Weather Warning process and such considerations are part of wider ongoing discussions with their colleagues in the National Directorate for Fire and Emergency Management, and the local authority sector in Ireland.
