Deputy Matt Carthy asked the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications if his Department, or any agency under his Department’s remit, have, since 1 November 2024, entered any contract in respect of a hotel (details supplied) or have had any discussions, or received any offers, in respect of using this premises for any reason; the details of same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has not entered into any contract, held discussions on or received any offers in respect of the use of the hotel referred to in the question.

My Department does not own or lease any property. All premises occupied by my officials are either State owned or leased by the OPW on behalf of the Department.
