Deputy Paul Murphy asked the Minister for Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform if he is aware of the outsourcing of jobs within Departments; how much this has cost; if there will be a move to cut back on outsourcing in future; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerI wish to advise the Deputy that there are no functions, roles or services within my Department that were outsourced to the private sector which were previously carried out by civil servants. My Department does not hold such information in respect of other Government Departments, so the Deputy may wish to submit separate Questions to the relevant Ministers.
