Deputy Eoin Ó Broin asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage the number of HAP, RAS and privately owned lease tenancies, long term leasing, enhanced leasing etc. in place at the end of 2024, and the total cost to the exchequer arising from these leases, in 2024, in tabular form. View answerMy Department publishes comprehensive programme level data on a quarterly basis on social housing delivery and spend activity. This data includes information relating to the Housing Assistance Payment (HAP), the Rental Accommodation Scheme (RAS) and the Social Housing Current Expenditure Programme (SHCEP) and can be found on my Department's website at the following link: www.gov.ie/en/collection/6060e-overall-social-housing-provision/
The latest available data covers the period to the end of Q3 2024. Q4 2024 figures are currently being compiled and will be published when that process is complete.
