Minister of State at the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media (Deputy Charlie McConalogue)

My Department currently provides funding of €330,000 per annum to Údarás na Gaeltachta who are responsible for administering the Summer Camp Scheme in the Gaeltacht on behalf of the Department. The funding provided by my Department for the scheme benefits over 6,000 children who attend over 200 approved camps in the Gaeltacht each year. My Department has also made funding of €140,000 available to Foras na Gaeilge for that organisation’s Summer Camp Scheme in 2025.
