269. Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Transport if he will support the provision of capital funding to enable the development of a second platform at Clara train station in County Offaly (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15007/25]
View answerAs Minister of Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding of public transport. The operation, maintenance and renewal of the rail network and stations on the network, including for Clara train station, is a matter for Iarnród Éireann in the first instance.
