McGuinness asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to provide an update on the progress of the mixed affordable purchase, cost rental and social housing scheme at Fairlane, Dungarvan, County Waterford, including current status, projected timelines and breakdown of tenures proposed. View answerA proposal for a mixed tenure development at Fairlane, Dungarvan, Co Waterford was received by my Department from Waterford City and County Council. A stage 1 proposal for a project which will deliver in the region of 70 housing units, was approved by my Department in March 2024. The breakdown of tenure type is not yet confirmed.
Waterford City and County Council has advised that a stage 2 application will be submitted shortly. The development is expected to be completed in 2028.
