My Department is currently managing a number of construction/fit out capital projects to realise the ambition of the Global Ireland initiative to enhance Ireland’s global impact and influence to 2025 and beyond

These construction/fit out projects are running broadly on programme. In relation to Ireland House London, the Department has completed the technical design stage of the project, however handover of the building has not yet taken place to the Department due to a delay to the landlord’s extensive refurbishment works. The Department is ready to commence the fit out stage once the building is handed over and Ireland House London is expected to be operational in summer 2027. All construction/fit out projects are actively managed within their allocated budgets to ensure value for money.
