Deputy Emer Currie asked the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration the number of individuals issued fines for illegally parking in a disabled parking space from 2023 to date; the number of individuals that paid the fine within 28 days; the number of individuals that paid the fine following the 28-day period, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am advised by An Garda Síochána that the below table provides a breakdown of the number Fixed Charge Notices (FCNs) issued for the offences of parking or stopping in a disabled parking bay, those paid within 28 days of date of notice, those paid after 28 days, and the number that remain unpaid as of 8 July 2025.
