Deputy David Cullinane asked the Minister for Health if she will meet a group representing parents (details supplied) affected by the hip dysplasia scandal at Children’s Health Ireland; if she will issue a detailed response to their correspondence; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I thank the Deputy for this question. I have received correspondence from the Hip Dysplasia Advocacy Group requesting a meeting. I and my officials are actively engaging with the group on the matters raised and are arranging a meeting.
