40. Deputy Pádraig O'Sullivan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade if he will provide the full list of Irish embassies and consulates; if there is any plans to expand this number in 2025 or 2026; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [37244/25]

Ireland currently has 94 embassies and consulates general in 72 countries, as set out in the table below. There are plans to open embassies in Serbia (Belgrade); Moldova (Chisinau) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (Sarajevo); and consulates general in Spain (Málaga) and Australia (Melbourne). It is planned all of these will be fully operational by 2027.
