1497. Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration the number of days each year that people pass through Dublin port without any passport control, considering when this Deputy came through Dublin port there was no one manning passport control. [45005/25]

The Border Management Unit (BMU) of my Department has responsibility for frontline immigration duties at Dublin Airport only. Other ports of entry are the responsibility of An Garda Síochána. I have directed officials to raise this matter with An Garda Síochána.
