Deputy Peter 'Chap' Cleere asked the Minister for Transport the number of staff employed on 1 September 2025 at McDonagh train station, Kilkenny; the number of staff employed on 1 September 2020; the number of trains on a daily basis; the number of trains on a weekly basis; the percentage of passenger increase and decrease in the period September 2020 to 2025, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport.
