The recruitment of staff for new initiatives in 2025 is based on funding and staffing limits agreed as part of the 2025 Budget process, and is carried out in line with the approach detailed in the HSE's Pay and Numbers Strategy for 2025.

This includes the recruitment of six Public Health Nurses for the Dublin Midlands area, who, as reported by the HSE in their published Census October 2025 have all been onboarded.
