Deputy Barry Ward asked the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 2547 of 8 September 2025, if her attention has been drawn to the correspondence from the HSE in relation to the provision of a device (details supplied) that assists in the care of people with diabetes; the actions she will take to expedite the provision of this support in Ireland; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Under the Health (Pricing and Supply of Medical Goods) Act 2013, the HSE has statutory responsibility for decisions on the pricing and reimbursement of medicines and medical devices; therefore, the matter has been referred to the HSE for attention and direct reply to the Deputy.
