190. Deputy Malcolm Byrne asked the Minister for Culture, Communications and Sport if his Department is using agentic AI in the delivery of its services or operations; if it is considering the use of agentic AI, and in what contexts; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [55693/25]
View answerMy Department is guided by relevant legislation, policies and the National Cyber Security Centre in respect of all matters related to the use or operation of AI. All applications and platforms used or operated by my Department must be in line with relevant policies and be consistent with advice provided by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).
I am advised by my officials that my Department does not make use of agentic AI in the delivery of its services or operations, nor is it currently considering the use of agentic AI in any capacity.
