211. Deputy Catherine Ardagh asked the Minister for Social Protection the number of families in each county currently receiving the working family payment that will qualify for the fuel allowance following Budget 2026, in tabular form. [55621/25]

For September 2025, 49,917 people were receiving Working Family Payment with 3,729 of these in households where Fuel Allowance is currently awarded on another claim. Exact numbers and breakdowns of Working Family Payment recipients who will benefit from the extension of Fuel Allowance to the Working Family Payment will be available when the measure comes into effect in 2026. The county breakdown of September 2025 recipients of Working Family Payment is set out in the table below along with the percentage breakdown.
