173. Deputy Paul Donnelly asked the Minister for Transport the current status of the railway safety (amendment) Bill; and when this Bill will move to the next phase. [56072/25]
View answerThe Government approved the drafting of additional matters for inclusion in the Bill on 29 September 2025 and to amend of the title to Railway Safety Bill. My Department is engaging with the Office of the Parliamentary Counsel to progress drafting with the aim to have it completed in November. The Bill is listed as a priority for publication for the Autumn legislative programme.
