258. Deputy Thomas Gould asked the Minister for Transport the spend on hardware that was deemed to not process fast enough in Cork city for 90-minute Leap card fares; and whether additional hardware will now be purchased. [56934/25]
View answerAs the Deputy may be aware, as Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport. The National Transport Authority (NTA) has responsibility for the development of public transport infrastructure, including ticketing and technology projects.
