753. Deputy David Cullinane asked the Minister for Health the total existing levels of service provision in Budget 2026. [56608/25]

Minister for Health (Deputy Jennifer Carroll MacNeill)

The additional funding for current expenditure in Budget 2026 for Vote 38 is €1.5bn.

This includes funding for existing level of service and new developments including funding for the recruitment of 3,300 WTE at an estimated cost of €149m.

This increased level of funding brings the total current Health budget for 2026 to €25.793bn.
