Deputy Ken O'Flynn asked the Minister for Health the number of consultant anaesthetists or pain medicine specialists employed in the HSE; the number of vacant posts; the HSE’s projected staffing requirements to meet demand identified by TILDA 2025; and whether specific funding has been ring-fenced to expand the pain management workforce in 2026.
