Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Health if there are any plans to extend existing test-purchase powers under section 14 of the Intoxicating Liquor Act 2008 to include situations where alcohol has been purchased online and delivered to a home address; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Authority to conduct test purchases of Alcohol by children under the age of 18 is solely the purview of An Garda Síochána, as such the deputies question is better directed to the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration.
