The Department of the Taoiseach prioritises building and sustaining a dynamic, agileand responsive workforce that supports the Taoiseach and the Government; and is aligned to the Department’s Statement of Strategy.
While the Programme for Government dictates our priority work areas and resources are assigned and reallocated to align with those priorities, the Department maintains a constant focus on being a lean, agile organisation by resourcing new and expanding work areas by reallocating existing resources and, only where necessary, recruiting additional staff.
