In 2024, over 10,000 young people participated in youth clubs administered by Cork Education and Training Board through the Local Youth Club Grant Scheme (LYCGS), supporting 176 youth clubs and 2,459 volunteer leaders, reflecting the strong commitment to youth engagement in the region.

The department has not been made aware of any changes to Cork City youth clubs to amalgamate services into a hub. Accordingly, no assessment of potential impacts has been undertaken.
